COVID-19 Announcement

The Trustee and staff continue to work remotely during the COVID-19 emergency. We are available by phone or email Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 4pm each week and Fridays from 7:30 until Noon  If you need an immediate response on a Friday please email info@ch13oshkosh.com and your question will be directed to the appropriate staff member for response.

The UST has also made an announcement concerning how 341 meetings will be conducted during the COVID-19 emergency. Please see the document linked below for details.

COVID-19 Temporary Emergency Procedure

If you have just filed a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy you probably have a lot of questions. The following information is provided to introduce you to some of the important concepts and provide information about common questions that arise in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.

Your attorney will be your source for any individual concerns, legal rights, or specific questions about your particular situation. The Trustee's office will attempt to assist you with your plan but the Trustee is prohibited by law from giving you legal advice.

The Trustee is proud to provide FREE access for our Chapter 13 debtors to the Trustee’s Education Network.

The Trustee’s Office will never advise you of changes to your Plan or Plan payments via telephone. You will receive written notification of any changes to the Trustee’s payment mailing address. The change will also be posted on this web site.

The Trustee does not accept payments from apps like Paypal or Venmo. If you receive a request to make payments in this manner it is a scam. Please contact your attorney and the Trustee’s office immediately.

The Trustee’s office will never call or email you requesting sensitive personal information. If you receive a suspicious telephone call or email, contact the Trustee’s Office or your attorney immediately.
